PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Generator Installation project at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Leelanau County, MI. SCOPE OF WORK: Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to supply and install three (3) standalone commercial liquid cooled natural gas power generators. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424Q0003. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in or around January 2024 with performance to begin in spring/summer 2024. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Leelanau County, MI will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Price, Technical, and Prior Experience. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code will be 238290, and the size standard will be $22.0 million. This project will be set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirements and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFQ) and its attachments will be issued and available in or around late November 2023 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities.
