PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a Road & Parking Lot Improvement project for Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Cuyahoga County, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary for the patching and two-inch asphalt overlay of approximately 112,400 SF of road and parking lot (to include repainting of markings upon completion) and the refurbishment of two under-road culvert systems and one parking lot drainage system at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424B0009. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in August 2024 with performance to begin soon after award. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Cuyahoga County, OH will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237310, and the size standard is $45.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. Interested contractors should also consider their construction bonding capacities when responding. Any information submitted in response to this market survey is voluntary and all costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the contractor. This market research is being conducted to acquire additional information about potential contractors that may be interested in performing this work.
