PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Fan Coil Unit Repairs project for First Ladies National Historic Site (FILA) in Canton, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to repair multiple fan coil units throughout the six (6) story building. We anticipate that work would begin in May 2024. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424B0007 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by May 2024 with performance to begin in May/June 2024. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Stark County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: will be addressed in the official solicitation North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238220, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY): The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. Prime contractors interested in working at FILA the work will consist of: Providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to repair multiple fan coil units throughout the six (6) story building. We anticipate that work would begin in May 2024. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 with a small business size standard of $19M. The Magnitude of Construction anticipated is between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested contractors should also consider their construction bonding capacities when responding. Contractor must be registered as a small business under the listed socio-economic categories in SAM (System for Award Management) under NAICS code 238220 to be considered/confirmed. Overview: This project will include all mobilization, work, labor, and materials to complete this work to include Prime/Subcontracting oversight as follows: The government anticipates that the work will include repairs of multiple fan coil units throughout the building.
