PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Roofing & Siding Replacement project for Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter County, IN. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to replace the roofs, siding, and doors for several buildings at Indiana Dunes National Park. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424B0003. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,0000,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in May 2024 with performance to begin soon after award. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Porter County, IN will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238160, and the size standard is $19.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. Prime contractors interested in working at Indiana Dunes National Park the work will consist of: Providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary for the replacement of roofing, gutters, siding, and doors on several buildings at Indiana Dunes National Park.
