PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations Central, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Brandywine Culvert Replacement project for Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools, and other equipment necessary for the renovation of the Brandywine Creek Historic Culvert including the installation of a new culvert constructed adjacent to the existing historic culvert and of sufficient size and length to accommodate approximately 150% of Brandywine Creek’s flows. The creek channel will be regraded upstream and downstream to a very limited extent so that most of the Creek’s flow passes through the new culvert to the extent possible within limited channel design and construction (and hydraulic analysis) and limited construction grading. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6424B0001 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by April 2024 with performance to begin in May/June 2024. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, OH will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238910, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is a 100% Total Small Businesses set-aside. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation.
