This announcement is to amend the solicitation in order to extend the close date of the Solicitation FROM March 28, 2023 @ 12:00 PM ED TO March 31, 2023 @ 12:00 PM ED. Additionally, this amendment is to correct block 13 "b. An offer guarantee" of the original SF 1442 as it was erroneously checked as "is required". The box in block 13 "b. An offer guarantee" should have been checked as "is not required". The solicitation and any amendments can be found and retrieved on SAM; www.sam.gov. Please complete the SF Form 1442 as instructed. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the HVAC Replacement project for Pictur... PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the HVAC Replacement project for Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munsing, MI. Work will consist of the replacement of the primary HVAC components for the Munising Falls Visitor Center. Additionally, work will cover the replacement of the building¿s single thermostat along with any necessary wiring (approximately 70-100 feet), and intake and exhaust venting which shall be installed meeting manufacturer, installation, and configuration requirements. All new, appropriately sized and insulated ductwork will be installed, including approximately 110-150 linear feet of insulated heat run venting installed in the attic space. Air returns will be installed into all four room spaces which are approximately 150-200 linear feet. Venting, gas line connections and electrical connections will also be required, meeting manufacturer installation and configuration requirements. Project will consist of furnishing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to decommission, dispose of, and replace existing unit. All was originally located in attic. The building has been completely gutted by park staff prior to HVAC installation. Existing furnace, duct work, insulation, and all sheet rock in building has been removed prior to installation. This will be similar to a new construction install. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6423Q0017 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by March 2023 with performance to begin in March 2023. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Alger County, MI will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Prior Experience and Price North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236220, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFQ) and its attachments will be issued and available mid February 2023 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities .
