PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Saxton House Rehabilitation project for First Ladies National Historic Site in Canton, OH. Providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for repairs to existing wood windows; replacement of several wood windows; reinforcement of iron railings at the porch stair and ramp; masonry repointing and repairs; replacement of the metal roofing system covering the porches; replacement of decorative wood porch rail; repairs to decorative architectural trim features; electrical conduit installation to existing porch roof lighting; and preparation and repainting exterior wood features. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6422R0004. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early June 2022 with performance to begin in June 2022. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Stark County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238990, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Women Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey.
