Questions and Answers. 2. The period of performance timeframe has been extended FROM 155 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed TO 365 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. 3. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Harbor Refuge Rehabilitation the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, MI. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for remove existing asphalt tab roof, sheathing, and insulation; remove composite siding and insulation within wall cavity; remove existing non-historic wood windows; install new roof sheathing, underlayment, and metal shingle roofing, install prefabricated metal gutters, integral (or Yankee) metal gutter, and downspouts, replace missing rafter outriggers; install new stucco wall board and wood trim to replicate historic appearance; install new metal-clad wood windows, repoint and repair brick and cast stone masonry; prepare and paint wood exterior trim and features; and execute minor structural repairs to first floor timber beam. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6420R0003. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Late May 2022 with performance to begin in Early June 2022. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Alger County, MI will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238990, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey.
