The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFQ/RFP) for the Bailey House Shoring and Bracing project Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, IN. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to brace and shore the historic Bailey House in accordance with the attached statement of work and associated drawings SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6422Q0005. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early March 2022. Service Contract Wage Requirements for Porter County, IN will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236990, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has been scheduled for January 19, 2022 at 0900 CST. The meeting location is 1100 Mineral Springs Road, Porter Indiana 46304. All vendors will travel to the project location guided by the park point of contact. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. Prime contractors interested in working at Indiana Dunes National Park the work will consist of: Providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for shoring and bracing of the interior and exterior of the main Bailly House, including second story stairs down to basement, roof, and exterior perimeter. We anticipate that work would begin in late February/March 2022. The NAICS code for this project is 238990, Residential Contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5M. Contractor must be registered as a small business under the listed socio-economic categories in SAM (System for Award Management) under NAICS code 238990 to be considered/confirmed. Overview: This project will include all mobilization, work, labor, and materials to complete this work to include Prime/Subcontracting oversight as follows: The government anticipates that the work will include shoring and bracing of the main Bailly House.
