This announcement is to amend the solicitation to clarify the description of the work in block 10 that was issued on the original SF-1442 for Exterior Painting and Repairs at Indiana Dunes National Park. The corrected statement is "The work for this project consists of painting all the outside walls (wood, metal, steel beams and concrete walls and columns.) Due to the existing conditions some of the existing Tongue and Groove 1x 6 Cedar Siding. Grade Clear need to be repaired and some members need to be replaced. Also, some of the ½" plywood sheets located at the top of the walls need to be replaced and a metal panel shall be installed on top of the plywood sheets to extend their life span. The contractor shall provide all the equipment, tools, and materials to complete the job. Scaffolding will be required to do the work and the contractor shall follow OSHA and State Standards and regulations." The solicitation and any amendments can be found and retrieved on SAM.gov. Please complete the SF Form 1442 as instructed. All amendments must also be read - SF 30 can be signed and returned once downloaded from SAM.gov or acknowledged that it was reviewed in block #19 on the SF 1442.

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Invitation For Bid (IFB) for the Exterior Painting and Repair project for the Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, IN. Project work consists of: Providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for repairs to existing wood windows; replacement of several wood windows; reinforcement of iron railings at the porch stair and ramp; masonry repointing and repairs; replacement of the metal roofing system covering the porches; replacement of decorative wood porch rail; repairs to decorative architectural trim features; electrical conduit installation to existing porch roof lighting; and preparation and repainting exterior wood features. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6422B0001 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by August 2022 with performance to begin in September 2022.
