PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Restroom Renovations project for the William Howard Taft National Historic Site in Cincinnati, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for the renovation of the basement and 2nd floor restrooms. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacing and installing new door signage, mirrors, sinks, toilets, grab bars, wall tiles, floor tiles, unit heaters, restroom lighting, exhaust fans, and toilet accessories. Additionally, existing plaster walls and ceilings require repair and repainting. All work shall be done in accordance with ABA requirements. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6421R0043. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by September 2021 with performance to begin in September 2021. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Hamilton County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236118, and the size standard is $39.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available August 2021 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov/FBO website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number.
