SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Culvert Replacement project for the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, MI. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to remove the existing 18-inch corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert and place a new 24 inch by 45-foot CMP culvert. CMP to be 14-gauge thickness minimum PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Less than $25,000.00 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor in July 2021 with performance to begin in early August 2021. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238910, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Alger County, MI will apply. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid/late June 2021 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/beta.SAM/FBO website at https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp .
