PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3,4 & 5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Maintenance Roof, Repairs, and Painting project for the Hopewell Culture National Historic Park in Chillicothe, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to: A. Maintenance Building Work consists of: complete patching and painting of ± 7,900 sq. ft of walls and ceilings. Painting of 12-80"x36" Steel doors. Painting 4-12x10' aluminum garage doors. Complete restoration and painting ± 544 sq. ft. of Eve, ± 272 linear feet of Facia Board and ± 128 linear feet of Garage Door Trim. Removal and Replacement of ± 242 Linear ft. of Seamless gutter 6" gutter and ± 56 feet of downspouts. B. Maintenance Storage Building Work consists of: removal of ±1360 sq. ft. asphalt shingle roof system down to roof deck. Replacement of asphalt shingle system and associated roof flashings. Surface preparation and the application of paint systems on ± 1110 sq. ft. of T-11 style siding and ± 250 linear ft of trim ranging in dimensions. Addition of ± 98 Linear ft. of Seamless gutter 5" gutter and ± 40 feet of downspouts SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6421R0008. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early April 2021 with performance to begin in April 2021. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Ross County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238160, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid/late February 2021 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/beta.SAM/FBO website at https://beta.sam.gov/search?index=opp . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
