The amendment is being issued to cancel this solicitation due to unforeseen conditions at the park directly impacting the project's scope of work/magnitude. SOW revisions and various other changes to the project will be completed at a later date - resulting in a new solicitation to be posted at that later date pending these corrections/changes for the Bathhouse Walkway Replacement at Indiana Dunes National Park.

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3,4 & 5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Bathhouse Walkway project for ... PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3,4 & 5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Bathhouse Walkway project for the Indiana Dunes National Park in Porter, IN. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to remove and replace new ABA ramp and walkway in accordance with project Specifications. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6420R0014. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by late May 2020 with performance to begin in early June 2020. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Porter County, IN will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238110, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
