The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FY20 Demo Project for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in Northeastern OH. Work will consist of providing provide and make available for review all permits, notifications, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the complete removal of buildings, structures, miscellaneous loose debris and other items as described for each item(s) in the specifications and site descriptions including the abandonment of cisterns, septic tanks and water wells. The contractor shall also be responsible for site restoration of these areas as specified. Optional work includes the removal of oil and gas wells and the removal of the access roads to the wells. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6420R0002 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by early February 2019 with performance to begin in March 2019. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Summit County, OH will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238910, and the size standard is $16.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
