PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Miners Castle Waste Water Renovations. The work under this contract consists of constructing a mound pressure dose field which will consist of installing approximately 780 total feet of four inch pressure force main and approximately 490 feet of two inch dosing pipe, also, installing two 2,500 gallon septic tanks and a Flout Tank. Along with this the demolition of two existing lift stations with control panels and two septic tanks are included under this contract. All work will be performed under a single contract. Period of Performance is 90 calendar days which includes inclement weather, holidays and weekends. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6419R0014 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by mid May 2019 with performance to begin in June 2019. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Alger County, Michigan will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237110, and the size standard is $36.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available mid/late April 2019 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, website at https://www.fedconnect.net. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a DUNS number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
