Pre-Solicitation Notice: The National Park Service (NPS), MWR NEKOTA Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a solicitation for Theodore Roosevelt National Park for Elk Reduction Packing Services. The acquisition will be conducted using Request for Quotes (RFQ) process. The NPS intends to award a firm-fixed price, commercial service contract in response to this RFQ. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. Solicitation No.: 140P6321Q0053. Project Location: Theodore Roosevelt National Park, South Unit, Medora ND Project Description: Elk Reduction Packing Service. Experienced Meat Recovery Packers for Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The packer shall be familiar with pack horses/mules, capable of preparing and packing and removing game in rough terrain and transporting meat to park cooler facility. Packer must be able to travel the South Unit of park within 3 hours of notification. Notice to Offeror(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under the solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Period of Performance: October 25, 2021 ¿ December 11, 2021 Notice of Set Aside: This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Total Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 114210 Hunting and Trapping. Size standards in millions: $6M The government intends to issue a formal Solicitation on or about September 2, 2021. If this date is delayed, the solicitation will follow as soon as possible. This is the preliminary notice of a solicitation that will follow. The responses will be due approximately 14 days after the RFQ issue date. The specific date and time will be announced in the solicitation that will follow this notice. No hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation will be provided. Offerors must have a DUNS number and be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award.
