This is a Sources Sought ONLY. It is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought or Government use of any information provided other then market research. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business, 8(a), or any other set aside arrangement as deemed appropriate based on the responses for this notice. If you are interested, please submit your detailed capabilities in writing to demonstrate same or similar experience. This is not a request for quote, request for proposal, or invitation to bid. No proposal package, solicitation, specification or drawings is available with this announcement. Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought announcement or any follow-up information requests. The Government anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this requirement. The responses to this sources sought will be used in determining whether a competitive set-aside or full and open competition is appropriate for this requirement. Misrepresentation of size status can result in penalties (the size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.-see 13 CFR 121.108). Please refer to current SBA guidance and Title 13 Part 126 Subpart B of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) regarding HUBZone firms. All firms should be registered and certified in the System for Award Management (SAM) which can be found at www.sam.gov. Analysis of the quality of responses to this sources sought announcement will be considered in the market research being conducted, and in the making of any small business set-aside determination for this requirement. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is to replace the HVAC in the visitor center at Arkansas Post National Memorial. Work consists of the following: a. HVAC: Removal of 4 split system air cooled heat pumps and replacement with one split system air handler, including 8 VAV electric reheat boxes. The project also includes significant ductwork changes, including a new outside air intake. b. Electrical: Work includes removal of electrical connections to demolished mechanical equipment, and new connections to new equipment. A new electrical panel will also be installed. c. Architectural: Work is complimentary to the HVAC work and will include new wall work around a new outside air intake and minor ceiling removal and replacement. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of construction for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated start date for the work is late July 2023 and the selected contractor shall be required to complete the entire project not later than 270 calendar days after the start date.
