Specific instructions on submitting quotes will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued on or after the date listed below. 1. Work Description: This Notice of Proposed Contract Action seeks to inform interested parties, including the vendor community, of a government requirement at Gateway Arch National Park located in St. Louis, Missouri to replace four (4) existing Swaby 4B-5400, 350 GPM, 50 fthd, 7.5 hp, 460V, 3ph sewage ejector pumps, motors, valves and associated piping. Detailed specifications will be included in the solicitation. The U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue an invitation for bids for this work. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. The NPS will solicit bids from responsible small business firms for a firm-fixed price contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, shipping, and expertise necessary for the successful completion of the project. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this requirement is between $250,000 and $500,000. 2. Location of Work: Gateway Arch National Park St. Louis, MO 63102 3. Additional Information: - The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $45 million. - Offerors are required to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and an active registration in SAM (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. 4. Tentative Requirement Dates: Solicitation Issue Date: On or about August 2, 2023 Contract Completion Date: The project shall be completed not later than 60 days from the date the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued. Onsite work is anticipated to begin in October 2023. 5. Publicizing and the Government Wide Point of Entry (GPE): - It is anticipated that the solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically in August 2023 on the governmentwide point of entry at the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). - Any amendments to the solicitation will also be posted to this website. - Responses to the solicitation will be due approximately 30 days after the date of the solicitation is posted. - The entire solicitation package with all attached documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML, and/or Adobe PDF. - Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. - This Notice of Proposed Contract Action is not a solicitation. 6.Small Business Restrictions: This requirement will be a total set aside for Small Business.
