PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Construct Housing Unit project for the Ozark National Scenic Riverways in Alley Spring, MO. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to construct a wood-framed duplex with a crawl space on an existing NPS site. The existing facility and foundation has already been removed. New facility will be connected to existing capped off utilities. Minimal site work is required to site the duplex on the tree-cleared site and to construct a driveway and parking spaces. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6222R0002 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1M TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by May 2022 with performance to begin in May/June 2022. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Shannon County, MO will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236116, and the size standard is $39.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Women-Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
