The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of vendors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on Beta.Sam.Gov Project Location: George Washington Carver NHS, 5646 Carver Road, Diamond, MO 64840 Project Description: Rehabilitate Williams Pond Dam Overflow and Outlet. The project will consist of excavation and removal of a portion of the existing earthen dam, excavate and remove the corrugated metal pipe (CMP) pond overflow spillway riser and the CMP outfall pipe, construct a new pre-cast-concrete spillway riser and reinforced concrete (RCP) outfall pipe, and replace the earthen dam portion with new soil material as shown on the design drawings. The pond overflow spillway riser shall be equipped for raising and lowering the pond water level as shown on the design drawings. Anti-seep collars shall be constructed along the new RCP outfall pipe, and the new earthen dam section shall be constructed as specified on the design drawings. Once the earthen dam section is fully constructed, it shall be graded, topsoiled, and seeded to return the new surface to pre-construction conditions.
