General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting quotes for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Replace HVAC - Quarters #41 at Hot Springs National Park, Garland County, Arkansas. Solicitation Number 140P6221Q0025. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Description: The removal of the existing HVAC system and then furnish and install a new, electric, two-ton with the highest available SEER rating for a Heat Pump System. A back-up/auxiliary 10kw electric heat strips will be installed to provide heat when temperatures drop below the heat pumps effective performance limitations. Type of Acquisition: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that would result in a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238220 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is advertised as 100% Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.sam.gov on or about mid August 2021.
