General: The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting quotes for construction firms having the capability to perform the work described as follows: Provide and Install a Stationary Electrical Generator, Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs Arkansas. Solicitation Number 140P6221Q0011. The vendor selected shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Description: The project scope is to install a stationary electrical generator to serve as the backup power source during emergency electrical failure conditions at the Water Cooling Station and pump station complex. The generator will be fueled by natural gas, permanently mounted to a concrete pad with an automatic transfer switch. The generator would be capable of automatic operations. Install all associated electrical wiring, conduit, panels and switches necessary to connect the generator into the electrical system of the pump station complex. Type of Acquisition: The National Park Service (NPS), Midwest Region (MWR), Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that would result in a firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code for this project is 238210 and the small business size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is advertised as a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business Set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically, on www.sam.gov on or about late-July 2021.
