SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY) Replace 44 Year Old Rescue Elevators (Reference 140P6321B0006) The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of vendors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. This is not an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP) and does not constitute any commitment by the Government to issue any solicitation. All interested firms must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey. Any solicitation that may be issued will be posted on Beta.Sam.Gov Project Location: Gateway Arch National Park, 11 N 4th St #1810, St. Louis, MO 63102 Project Description: The Work includes the replacement / reconditioning of the original 1968+/- traction Service freight elevators in the Gateway Archs north and south legs including the installation of new complimentary control systems. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. WORK PHASES The Work shall be conducted in two phases in the following order, with each phase substantially complete before beginning the next phase: Phase 1: Replace/recondition one of the two Service elevators. Coordinate with NPS/COR which of the two elevators should be reconditioned first. Work of this phase shall be substantially complete and ready for occupancy within 28 weeks after Notice to Proceed (= 22 weeks for procurement, and 6 weeks construction time/side). Phase 2: The second Service elevator will be reconditioned once the first elevator is fully operational. The associated NAICS Code: 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 million.
