The National Park Service intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price purchase order to RP Advanced Mobile Systems, LLC for two search-and-rescue personal watercraft units for Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore in Empire, Michigan. The units must be factory-produced BRP/Sea-Doo platforms modified for emergency rescue operations while retaining the factory warranty and authorized service support. RPAMS is considered the only source because it is the sole U.S. company authorized by the manufacturer to perform such modifications while maintaining warranty coverage. Interested responsible sources may submit capability statements demonstrating they can meet these requirements, including manufacturer-authorized modifications and warranty retention. The acquisition will be handled under commercial simplified acquisition procedures.
