This purchase will be for the supply and installation of 5 automatic gate units. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6025Q0050 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by late August 2025 with performance to begin in September 2025. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238290, and the size standard is $22.0 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available mid August 2025 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. SOURCES SOUGHT (MARKET SURVEY): The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for a possible upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. Prime contractors interested in working at Lincoln Home National Historic Site the work will consist of: Providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for removing and replacing five automatic gate units. We anticipate that work would begin in late July 2025. The NAICS code for this project is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a small business size standard of $22.0M. Contractor must be registered as a small business under the listed socio-economic categories in SAM (System for Award Management) under NAICS code 238290 to be considered/confirmed. Overview: This project will include all mobilization, work, labor, and materials to complete this work to include Prime/Subcontracting oversight as follows: The government anticipates that the work will include removing and replacing five automatic gate units. All specifications documents/drawings will be provided if/when the government proceeds with a formal solicitation. Interested firms must submit the attached Market Research Sources Sought Survey. This market research is being conducted to acquire additional information about potential contractors that may be interested in performing this work.
