Arkansas Post National Monument - Replace DP-2 Panel and Restore Power PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations – Central, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Replace DP-2 Panel and Restore Power project for Arkansas Post National Monument in Gillette, AR. Work consists of: The disconnection and removal of existing distribution panel DP-2 which is fed direct from the main distribution panel (MDP) and located within the mechanical room of the visitor center (VC). The contractor shall provide and install a new NEMA 3R rated enclosure to house a new single phase, 800amp, 240v panel. Existing electrical service from panel DP-2 which is routed by conduit up through the floor of the mechanical room shall be extended through the wall and re-connected to the new panel DP-2 as indicated in the construction drawings. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6025Q0040 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Summer 2025 with performance to begin in Summer 2025. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Arkansas County, AR will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238210, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available June 2025 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
