PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Contracting Operations - Central, intends to issue a Information for Bid (IFB) for the Upgrade Education Center Entrance and Parking requirement for Homestead National Historic Park in Beatrice, Nebraska. Work will consist of removing the existing parking area and drives north of the education center and replacement with new concrete paving. Work also includes associated removals, grading, storm sewer, site electrical, and landscaping. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6024B0001 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Spring 2024 with performance to begin in Summer 2024. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Gage County, NE will apply. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238990, and the size standard is $19 million. This project is set aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available February 2024 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey.
