HOCU Archeological Overview and Assessment (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The National Park service is issuing this request for quote (RFQ) 140P6023Q0048, for the performance of an Archeological Overview and Assessment (AOA) for Hopewell Culture National Historical Park (HOCU) in Chillicothe, Ohio, in accordance with the provided Scope of Work (SOW). All responsible sources may submit a quote that shall be considered by the agency. The Solicitation Number is 140P6023Q0048 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04. (iv) This requirement has been set aside for Total Small Businesses (SB) competition in accordance with 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside., under NAICS Code 541720 - Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities with a small business size standard of $28.0M. (v) Line items: HOCU, Archeological O&A (vi) The acquisition is for the performance of an Archeological Overview and Assessment (AOA) for Hopewell Culture National Historical Park (HOCU) in Chillicothe, Ohio. The project involves conducting a thorough investigation of existing records, documents, and reports to produce an overview of the archeological resources associated with HOCU. The Contractor shall prepare draft and final versions of the AOA that include maps depicting the results of the study. The work will be accomplished through contract and will consist of the components discussed in the statement of work. Product and services offered to the Government under this purchase shall meet or exceed the following in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
