FOLS Replace VC Septic Tank and Leach Field PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, MWRO Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the FOLS Replace Visitor Center Septic Tank and Leach Field in Larned, KS. The work consists of removing the existing septic tank and capping the existing sewer line to the drain field, install a new septic tank and lift station, directionally drill a new force main from the lift station northwest under the river and access road, install a new drain field northwest of the access road, seed and restore surface following construction. All work will be located at Fort Larned National Historic Site, 1767 KS Hwy 156, Larned, KS 67550. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6023B0002 PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded to a prime contractor by early June 2023 with performance to begin in June 2023. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Pawnee County, KS will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Will be addressed in the solicitation. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors with a small business size standard of $19M.
