The National Park Service requests information from small business vendors registered as small businesses under NAICS 238330 Flooring Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5M or that meets that size standard and can perform the work. Vendors interested in submitting a proposal for this requirement should send a Statement of Qualifications. Submit information to the Contract Specialist, Joseph Bac, at joseph_bac@nps.gov, no later than (NLT) 2:00 PM CT on March 8, 2021. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy decision based on the results of this market survey and a future solicitation may be issued as unrestricted without further consideration. The Work consists of the following: The wood flooring that was removed in the Rangers office to access the piping will be replaced in-kind with the boards removed to the greatest extent possible. The opening of removed flooring measures approximately 2'9 inches X 8'6 inches. The removed boards are stored on site. Some planks were damaged beyond reuse and will have to be replaced with new planks. The replacement planks should be 2 ½ inches x 5/8 inch thick, tongue and grove vertical grain Yellow Pine B. Any new boards can remain unfinished. All work will be located at Brown V Board of Education NHS in Topeka, KS. The National Park Service anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of construction is: less than $25,000. Period of Performance: 60 calendar days from Notice to Proceed There is a draft version of the expected Scope of Work attached to the announcement on https://www.beta.sam.gov.
