The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3, 4, & 5, Midwest Regional Office Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), intends to issue a solicitation for replacing the Education Center roof at Homestead National Monument of America, Beatrice, Nebraska. General work will include the following: Provide everything necessary including supervision, certifications, licensing, labor, tools, materials, transportation, and equipment necessary for complete removal of existing cedar shake shingled roof, gutters, downspouts, gutter drip edge and valleys to plywood deck and replacement per the Scope of Work. The flashing, gutters with gutter guards, downspouts SHALL BE REPLACED AT THIS LOCATION. Installation of a new roof that shall be a shake alternative. This procurement will be a 100% Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside and is open to all responsible Small Business sources qualifying as 100% WOSB. A Site Visit will be scheduled if allowed and Social Distancing guidelines shall be adhered to. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price NAICS 238160 - Roofing Contractors; the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5 million. The Project Magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contract Period of Performance: Estimated at 87 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. SITE VISIT: Site Visit location, date and time will be in the posted solicitation once issued. The Government anticipates awarding one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
