On or about Sep 2nd, 2020, the Department of Interior, National Park Service, Interior Region 3,4, and 5 Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a solicitation (140P6020Q0039) on Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov), for the custom fabrications of interior storm/UV windows in several "Historic" buildings and museum rooms. This contract consists of one base bid comprised of 31 windows of various sizes at Fort Scott National Historic Site, Fort Scott KS. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. BACKGROUND: Work consists of: Custom fabrications of interior storm/UV windows in several "Historic" buildings and museum rooms. This contract consists of one base bid comprised of 31 windows of various sizes. The interior storm windows shall be attached to a metal sub-frame attached to the existing historic wood trim using double-sided tape or screws if necessary (also supplied by vendor). THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Type of Contract: One (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be awarded on a best value basis. NAICS CODE: 238150 (Glass and Glazing Contractors).
