On or about Aug 17th, 2020, the Department of Interior, National Park Service, Interior Region 3,4, and 5 Major Acquisition Buying Office intends to issue a solicitation (140P6020Q0033) on Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov), for removal of building, pavements, and concrete snow removal at Pipestone National Monument, Pipestone MN. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of offer. BACKGROUND: Work consists of: Furnishing the materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary for demolition and removal of a residential structure and driveway pavement to the road, foundations, slabs/floors, windows/doors, trash, debris, concrete, wood, steel, wiring, piping and any other materials that are not part of the natural setting. The Contractor shall use any desired method of demolition (except explosives and fire), provided the method does not cause damage to surrounding natural resources; and conforms to all local, county, state and federal laws. The work includes grading the area with approved borrow pit material within the building footprint. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Type of Contract: One (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be awarded on a best value basis. NAICS CODE: 238910 (Site Preparation Contractors). The small business standard is $16.5M.
