The National Park Service, Midwest Region Major Acquisition Buying Office (MABO), On or about May 14, 2019, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) 140P6019R0009 on Federal Business Opportunities (https://www.fbo.gov), to Rehabilitate the Historic AME Church at Nicodemus National Historic Site. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications. The work consists of rehabilitation of the AME Church as an interpretive site. This building is a one-room chapel, constructed of limestone. Work includes reconstruction of a missing north wall (CMU and wood framing with stucco), stucco repair, masonry and plaster repair, wood floor framing repair, new HVAC, new lighting and electrical systems, and associated finish work. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Type of Contract: One (1) Firm-Fixed Price Contract will be awarded on a best value basis. NAICS CODE: 236118 - Residential Remodelers. The small business standard is $36.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(e) the Project Magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
