SYNOPSIS: Remove and replace flooring, Jean Lafitte National Historic Park and Preserve, Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf, Storm Recovery Program, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to remove existing carpet and tile flooring and apply epoxy finish to exposed concrete subfloor in the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Jean Lafitte National Park and Preserve. A detailed Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation documents. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about July 14, 2022 (date is subject to change) and will be posted to the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/ This procurement will be 100% set-aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 238330-Flooring Contractors. The small business standard is $16.5 million. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 to $500,000 TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded requiring submission of both technical, past performance and price proposal. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Payment and Performance Bonds and Bid Guarantee will be required. Contract is expected to be awarded by August 2022. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Louisiana, Saint Landry County will apply. SAM REGISTRATION: All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov and be a small business under the identified NAICS code 238330 and NOT have any exclusion such as delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action. A date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers.
