SYNOPSIS: Cape Hatteras National Seashore, NC housing unit repairs THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf, intends to issue a Request for Proposal for repairing four (4) employee housing units on Ocracoke Island on the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, North Carolina. A detailed Statement of Work will be provided with the solicitation documents. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued on or about 05/15/2020 (date is subject to change) and will be posted to the beta.SAM.gov website at https://beta.sam.gov/ This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236118. The small business standard is $36.5 million. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 TYPE OF PROCUREMENT: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price construction contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and price proposal. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Payment and Performance Bonds and Bid Guarantee will be required. Contract is expected to be awarded by August 2020. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Hyde County will apply. SAM REGISTRATION: All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in beta.SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code 236118 and NOT have any exclusion such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one (1) site visit is scheduled for this action. A date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released. No bidder list is maintained by the Contracting Officer. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor this announcement for updates and the release of the solicitation documents. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be accessible from both FedConnect and the beta.SAM.gov website at www.fedconnect.net or https://beta.sam.gov/.
