THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. This is not the full solicitation; proposals are not requested at this time. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations (ConOps) East, intends to issue a solicitation to clear and inspect 175 culverts at Shark Valley, located in Everglades National Park, Miami, FL on or about May 17, 2024. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5424R0011. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238990. The small business standard is $19M. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on June 05, 2024 at 10:00am (ET) in Miami, Florida. Pertinent details will be provided in Section L of the solicitation when it is posted. Attendance at the site visit is strongly encouraged (not mandatory). Requests for individual site visits will not be honored. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on June 17, 2024 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of July 2024. Note: Service Contract Act prevailing wages for Monroe County, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov on or about May 17, 2024. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
