THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to prep and paint nearly 30,000 square feet of exterior walls, fascia, soffit, doors, and trim including the repair or replacement of caulking at windows and doors as necessary, masonry block patching, and the application of a new primer coat of multiple buildings within the northwest district of Everglades National Park located, a unit of the National Park Service (NPS), on or about July 17, 2023. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5423R0025. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238320. The small business standard is $19M. The cost range is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as debarment and be able to rectify any delinquent federal debt by the date offers are due. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this project on Aug 02, 2023 at 10:00am (ET). Attendees will meet for the ONLY group inspection at Shark Valley, 36000 SW 8th St, Miami, Florida and continue from that location to view remaining buildings/locations extending 60+ miles west. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on Aug 07, 2023 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the end of August 2023. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Miami-Dade and Collier Counties, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov on or about July 17, 2023. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
