THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to prep and paint approximately 2,700 square feet the exterior of the Broward House, an historic structure, at the Kingsley Plantation located within the Timucuan National Preserve in Jacksonville FL, 32226, Duval County on or about March 30, 2022. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5422R0011. This project includes, but is not limited to, the preparation and paint application for wood surfaces only (and 1 metal door). The exterior siding on all elevations as well as the facia, soffit (including all decorative details), porch railings and columns, window frames and grid muntins, and both sides of all exterior doors and jams. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238320. The small business standard is $16.5M. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on April 08, 2022 at 10:00am (ET) in Jacksonville, Florida. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on April 12, 2022 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of April 2022. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Duval County, FL will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov on or about March 30, 2022. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
