THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a solicitation to prep, paint and make minor repairs to the exterior of Historic Bachlott House within Cumberland Islands National Seashore located at 101 Wheeler St, St Marys GA, Camden County on or about June 16, 2021. SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5421R0026. This project includes (but is not limited to) washing the entire exterior of the structure, including decking, porch ceiling, handrails, and spindles. Replace 7 single hung, vinyl windows, repair wood, lap siding, brick mold and trim on around windows, scraping and caulking all wood surfaces where paint is flaking and prepare for painting. Coat entire brick chimney with a clear sealant, replace half round, galvanized gutter, etc. A detailed Statement of Work (SOW) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses using NAICS code of 238320. The small business standard is $16.5M. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one group site visit is scheduled for this action on July 07, 2021 at 9:00am (ET) in St Marys GA. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on July 12, 2021 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded towards the middle of July 2021. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Camden County, GA will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on beta.SAM.gov on or about June 16, 2021. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due no earlier than 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation.
