The National Park Service (NPS), Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Ocracoke Island, is issuing combined sol/synopsis to replace the entire fence around Ocracoke Maintenance Yard, The Project is located at 100 NPS Road, Ocracoke, NC. Ocracoke is only accessible via a ferry and the schedule changes based on season. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS 238990, Other Specialty Trade Contractor In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Period of Performance - 30 days from NTP approx. 5/1/2024 - 5/30/2024 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD. Optional Site Visit: Scheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the time of the site visit from 10:30am until 11:30am. Ocracoke is only accessible via a ferry and the schedule changes based on season. It is very important to advise all contractors that they will need to be at the ferry early - it takes about an hour and ½ to ride the ferry to get to Ocracoke.
