Congaree National Park REPLACE 1996 WAR EAGLE BOAT GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor, providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P5323Q0035. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-92 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror submitting a Quote which conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 336612. This solicitation will result in a contract within a period of (10) days. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation, please review the attachments posted. The acquisition is in support to supply Congaree National Park REQUIREMENT: Supply and Deliver: Our needs include operate in shallow water without damage to the outboard motor using a propeller (tunnel hull design), stable platform with lots of elevated seating for hog management activities, light weight and small enough to be operated, launched and retrieved solo, capable of navigating tight quarters in a swamp with lots of hazards (trees, cypress knees, stumps, etc.).
