GENERAL: The National Park Service (NPS), Department of Interior, anticipates issuing a solicitation for the project described below. This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or around 6/19/23. The entire solicitation package, including all attachments, will be available electronically at www.beta.sam.gov Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. PROJECT SCOPE: The National Park Service (NPS) Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CAHA) is seeking qualified firms or organizations supply and install a generator at Fort Raleigh Headquarters Building. Replace the current 31-year-old Three Phase 90 KW diesel generator with a new Three phase 100 KW diesel generator that includes an enclosed overcurrent protection device in the same location, install a new 2,000 gallon, double walled and insulated above ground fuel storage tank on a concrete pad in the designated space, replace the existing Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) with a new UPS, and perform all operation and functional testing for the new generator and the new UPS. The replacement includes all required electrical connections, disconnects, exhaust for the generator and multiple operational checks for the newly installed generator and UPS. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Fort Raleigh Headquarters Building – 1401 National Park Drive, Manteo, NC 27954 . PROCUREMENT TYPE: The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract to meet this requirement. SET-ASIDE: This acquisition has been set-aside for small business concerns. Offers will be solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected.
