The National Park Service (NPS), Blue Ridge Parkway, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation to replace and repair wood fencing at various locations along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina Ashe, Alleghany, Wilkes and Watauga counties. Work will include removing and replacing approximately 7,000 linear feet of fencing and in addition approximately 700 individual rails where the fencing is in good condition. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238990 All other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Period of Performance 1/10/2022 to 6/30/2022 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. The National Park Service (NPS) will be contracting to replace and repair wood fencing at various locations along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina Ashe, Alleghany, Wilkes and Watauga counties. Work will include removing and replacing approximately 7,000 linear feet of fencing and in addition approximately 700 individual rails where the fencing is in good condition. This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238990 All other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation, plans, and specifications are expected to be posted on or about November 19, 2021. The solicitation will be available for a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days once posted. This is a Presolicitation Notice. The Solicitation will include information on how to obtain the plans and specifications. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the Agency posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov.
