Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to dissociate the Purchase Request. Admin issue, no action needed. The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the supply of 350 (ea) half ton boulders, each shall be 3-4 feet in diameter; approximately 50% of boulders shall be 36"-48" in diameter and approximately 50% shall be 24"-36" in diameter. No boulders should exceed 5' in length along longest axis. Boulder samples are required for this project. Samples need to be of a size so as to adequately demonstrate material color and texture, representative of the range of natural variation from the source. Contract Time: All deliveries for this contract must be completed within 45 calendar days after the issuance of award. Commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation, and any subsequent award, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2009-1-1. This requirement is set-aside for Total Small Business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19-502-2, and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. Required Services: This acquisition consists of Purchase of 350 boulders The government reserves the right to award none, any or all of the bid options in any order. Unit of issue is ton. Unit prices quoted shall be per ton and include hauling and stockpiling or tailgate spreading of ordered materials as indicated in specifications. This project is in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Tennessee and North Carolina areas. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to provide gravel to multiple locations within the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
