Big South Fork ENGINE REPLACEMENT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-101 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This announcement constitutes that only solicitation quotations are being requested. The resultant purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This is a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19-502-2. The principle NAICS is 811111, General Auto Repair, Size standard is 80.0 in dollars. The National Park Service, North Major Acquisition Buying Office has a requirement for the procurement for vegetation maintenance of road prisms, road bridges and major culverts, developed areas, pedestrian tunnel entrances, vistas, and hazard tree removal. The work is located in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park in Bell County, KY, Claiborne County, TN and Lee County, VA. Required Services: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision required to provide a fully excluded requirement. This acquisition may result in a firm fixed price contract. The place of performance for this requirement is at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park in Bell County, KY, Claiborne County, TN and Lee County, VA. The solicitation number assigned to this requirement is 140P5322Q0006. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). An offeror must ensure that they are self-certified under NAICS Code 811111 in the Representations and Certifications portion of SAM.gov.
