The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for Cyclic cutting of vegetation up to 300 historic scenic vistas on the Blue Ridge Parkway to maintain views. This contract includes vistas in the Virginia area only. These services include cutting trees, shrubs, brush, briars and vines within specified depths of designated vistas, along with some application of herbicide in specified areas, to provide vistas with clear and unobstructed views. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial services contract based on the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 15, Negotiations and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement.
