The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for James River Visitor Center Plumbing and Wellhead Protection, Milepost 63.6 Blue Ridge Parkway, Monroe, VA, 24574. The project will install a new concrete vault with stainless steel lid to protect the system well head. Plumbing appurtenances in the VC will be replaced to improve the water quality for the staff and general public. The water fountain will be replaced if funding is available. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238220 and the size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of Performance 5/15/2021 to 8/30/2021 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system.
