The National Park Service is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for the cutting down, and chipping of hazardous trees, in the Peaks of Otter Campground and Picnic Areas. All tree branches, limbs, and debris will be chipped. There have been approx. 33 trees that have been identified to be removed due to damage of the Emerald Ash Borer. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial services contract based on the proposal that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Par 15, Negotiations and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement.
